CompWest’s 2016 Agent Satisfaction Survey Results

The 2016 CompWest Agent Satisfaction Survey results are in, and based on your responses, our agents have an overall favorable impression of the company and our current direction.  This annual survey is an important tool for measuring our success in meeting your needs and expectations and providing exceptional customer service.

This year’s overall satisfaction rating increased to 4.0 out of 5.0, up from 3.7 in 2015.  Eighty-six percent of agents who responded said they were “likely” or “very likely” to renew their workers’ comp coverage with CompWest.

Scores for underwriting, industry expertise, marketing effectiveness, and pricing also increased over 2015 results.

While the satisfaction survey is only conducted once a year, we encourage you to contact us at any time with your feedback about how we can better serve you.  Your input is essential, as your satisfaction with CompWest is our top priority.

CompWest Expanding Into Utah

You may have noticed CompWest advertising in industry publications announcing the company’s expansion into Utah.  While we’ve been present in Utah for a few years, we have plans in place to actively write Utah business more efficiently and enable further growth throughout the state.

As we believe relationships matter, we’ve hired a Business Development Consultant who lives in Utah, enabling us to continue our approach of localized underwriting, knowledge and relationship management. We’re actively conducting the necessary training process and system updates that will allow CompWest to more effectively write policies, manage territories and administer claims.  We’re actively expanding our distribution network along with increasing our marketing activities to target new agents and policyholders, and build a greater awareness of the products and services we provide.

This is an exciting time for the company, as our efforts in these areas will pave the way for an increased industry presence and market share, new agent partnerships, and the establishment of Utah as a core state for CompWest.

New Video Explains the CompWest Difference

The CompWest Difference is something we talk a lot about.  The superior services and resources we provide our customers, which ultimately help employers achieve workers’ compensation cost savings, are what set CompWest apart from the competition.

We’ve created a new video which tells the story of “Joe,” a small business owner in search of workers’ comp insurance, and the customer experience he would have with CompWest over one of our unnamed competitors.  We hope you’ll enjoy this lighthearted and informational video, and share it with current and potential policyholders.
