Putting People First

We understand the significant challenges that COVID-19 has created – and continues to create – for businesses, their workers and our communities in general. And we want to assure you we’re committed to supporting you and our mutual customers as we navigate this pandemic together.

Our People First Relief Program has ensured the health and safety of our workforce and provided more than $30 million in immediate financial and operational assistance to our agents, policyholders, injured workers and our communities as we collectively face the challenges of COVID-19.

As part of this program, we were proud to team up with one of our long-time agency partners — The Huttenlocher Group — and one of our valued policyholders – Union Joint Restaurants – to provide meals to frontline workers. Click here to hear more about our collective efforts to give back to our communities.

AF Group Accolades

As an enterprise, AF Group was once again (eleven years and counting!) recognized by Business Insurance as a “Best Place to Work in Insurance.”

AF Group was again recognized as a Ward’s 50 company. For this honor, Ward’s examined nearly 3,000 property/casualty and life/health insurance companies, and their recognition of AF Group was based on our outstanding financial results “in the areas of safety, consistency, and performance over a five-year period.”

And most recently, our financial strength rating of “A” (Excellent) with a ‘stable’ outlook was reaffirmed by A.M. Best. While this accomplishment reflects well on our organization, it also reflects the success of our continued partnership with our agents.

Webinar: Helping Your Clients in the Digital World

Dane Sprecher and esteemed members of our agency partner, Phire Group, teamed up to create a webinar focused on digital marketing. The video is a valuable tool that helps you reach new markets and maintain relationships, as well as utilize digital tools to acquire and retain customers.

Since the program’s inception in 2017, we’ve seen a dramatic reduction in indemnity frequency for customers who consistently use TeleCompCare® (TCC).  To access the latest information and resources on TeleCompCare, visit our website.
