The position reports to the Loss Control
Manager in Santa Ana.
Responsibilities:
Completing risk evaluation/surveys to
assist in the underwriting process
Providing consultative services to
policyholders to improve loss results
Developing and providing training
presentations covering safety and health or claims management issues
Managing a service territory including
effective scheduling, communication and prioritization of work to
address
the policyholders needs and impact the overall loss profile
of the accounts
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-5 years experience with a
Work Comp specialty carrier (Multi-line experience with significant
Workers’ Compensation book of business will be considered)
Industry experience in managing safety
and health and workers compensation programs including familiarity
with Cal
OSHA standards and industry best practices in
manufacturing, retail, hospitality or other industries
Excellent communication and
organization skills
Superior computer skills with strong
problem solving skills

Responsibilities:
This rewarding opportunity will have
oversight of the activities and workflows of the Underwriter Associates
(U/A) and Underwriting Administrative Associate (UWA), who support our
Underwriters with new business clearance and set up, document scanning,
policy issuance, endorsement processing, customer service, and external
correspondence.

process in the Underwriting Department
Performs Quality Assurance Reviews
May be needed to work a book of
business and / or assist with complex accounts
Must be able to maintain or exceed Key
Service Standards (company set timeline for task completion)
The position will be exempt and will report
directly to the Director of Corporate Underwriting.
Qualifications:
10 years industry experience, of which
3 years are in a supervisory position
5 years workers compensation experience
(Multi-Line experience will be considered)
Excellent communication and
organization skills
Extensive knowledge of Multi State
filings and requirement for policy issuance and cancellations
Expertise with NCCI and Independent
Bureau requirements
Expertise with Department of Motor
Vehicle filing requirements as well as other State or Federal
departments
Superior computer
skills with strong problem solving skills
Comprehensive
experience with various policy issuance systems
