Works with claims examiners to ensure that all
converted files are positioned properly for further handling and are
created into indemnity cases timely and within current protocols
Maintains accurate diary of scheduled tasks and

Conducts telephone communication with Medical
Provider offices to obtain the current discharge status of Injured

Gain knowledge in
various corporate underwriting functions such as but not limited to
referrals from underwriters, technical based meetings and
procedural/processing meetings, and provide input during various
technical tasks functions or projects as applicable
Project management
for all CompWest University (i.e. internal training) seminars to
include proposal of new topics; presentation at seminars as
applicable
Contribute to the
development of Underwriting Associate training topics; conduct

Gain knowledge on

business clearance; clearing the new business submission in the FiServ
system, the old new business log and inventory spreadsheet. If clear,
the next steps will be followed. New Business clearance and Fiserv entry
within 24 hours.
·Enter the
New Business into both the WebRap worksheet and the FiServ system to
generate a rating model within 48 to 72 hours. Delivered to Underwriter
within 72 hours.

Services Administrative Assistant assists the Claims Department with
overall general administration duties. This position is part-time at
10-20 hours a week. This position reports to the Premium Services
Director.
